We have had a very productive 2011 with so many new developments and enhancements to all our platforms, many of which are thanks to the feedback we have received. We are pleased to announce that ICUK will be exhibiting at the Convergence Summit South this year. The event is primarily focused towards the reseller / wholesale / channel market. The annual event is held at Sandown Park and this year it falls on the 4th and 5th October 2011. We welcome all existing and prospective resellers to come and meet us on stand number 58. Be sure to pre-register on their site or contact us for a free VIP ticket.

On the stand we will be announcing details of our new broadband network, reseller control panel enhancements, and introducing our latest acquisition – CIX. You can meet some of the team and field any questions you may have about our platforms and service.

We are delighted to announce that CIX Online Limited, Europe’s most advanced conferencing and discussion platform, and one of the UK’s oldest providers of web hosting and Internet connectivity, has today been acquired by ICUK.

CIX includes the world famous CIX Conferencing system, which was founded in 1987 and remains at the forefront of discussion and is indeed one of the original forms of social networking. With a broad customer base of 7000 users, CIX provides a range of web hosting, conferencing and virtual office facilities.

As part of this acquisition, we plan to integrate these products within the ICUK Control Panel for existing customers in order to expand the product portfolio available to them. The CIX platform and interfaces are set to undergo a large number of changes to improve the customer experience and fit into our core network and aesthetic design philosophies.

On the 8th November 2001 ICUK was formed at Companies House and today we are celebrating our 9th birthday. We wish to thank all our loyal and long standing staff, and importantly to all those customers who have witnessed the evolution of the company. Without them, ICUK wouldn’t be the organisation that it has become.
